Research On Mun Mu King’s Grave
I live in Gyung-Ju. My hometown is Gyung-Ju too. Gyung-ju is a very beautiful city and the capital of Silla Dynasty. The Silla Dynasty has one thousand year history. Gyung-Ju has many cultural festivals like Cheom Seong Dae, Bul Guk Sa, and Seok Gul Am. They are old places, but as very lovely. I don’t know everything about my city, so I researched Gyung-Ju and I watched Mun Mu king’s grave.
This story is about Mun Mu. He wanted peace, but Japan hit Silla. One day Island of East Sea was wavy and it rained for a few days. Mun Mu went near the sea. At that time a dragon came and gave him bamboo, and the dragon told him “Make a pipe and play the pipe then war and infectious disease are over”(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cC1GIqPyi6o). The pipe’s name is Man-Pa-Sik-Jeok. However his story was not over, when he died he told people “My bones bury in water” people thought “If king’s bones bury in water, he will be a dragon”(cha.go.kr/korea/heritage). He wants it and he will protect Korea from Japan.
It is Mun Mu king’s story. It’s very interesting. I think Gyung-Ju was protceted for Dragon(Mun Mu). Our ancestors are great people, and I am proud of them. Thank you for reading.
My Experience Going to Mun Mu King’s grave
I would like to talk about my experience in Mun Mu King’s grave. I have been to Mun Mu King’s grave after I was discharged from the combat police with my family. We have eaten sliced raw fish and mae un soup and have seen Mun Mu King’s grave. It looked very huge and made of rock. This memory is one of the most important of my life.
