The Secret Garden - About Mary

I read a book named The Secret Garden. It was so interesting and It gave me an understanding about changing people’s lives. Her name is Mary. She is 10 years-old. On page 1 chapter 1 “She had a thin angry face and thin yellow hair”. She wasn’t a pretty girl. She grows up lonely because her father and mother were very busy. One day, her parents and servant died and she went to her uncle’s house. She met many people and tried to be healthy. She changed her mind by Martha. Martha told her many things and gave her a skipping-rope. Before she was selfish and disagreeable, but after she helped Colin and she played with Colin.

I think The Secret Garden gave many lessons. Parents and friends are very important for children. If she grows up friendly, she wasn’t selfish, but she change and she met Dikon and Colin. She helped Colin and Colin changed like her. Finally, Colin’s father Mr Craven comes home and looks at heathy Colin. Craven was surprised. It was a happy ending and gave many lessons. I want to recommend this book to my friends.
